SUMMER HAS ARRIVED IN VIÐEY WITH IT´S DAILY SCHEDULE AND HAPPY GUESTS

Summer arriving May 15. 2010

On May 15th summer officially started with it´s daily boat sailing and happy guests. Over 300 guests came to Viðey on that day for hiking, playing, bbq-ing or simply enjoying the wonderful nature. Viðeyjarstofa Café is now open every day, offering drinks warm and cold and an irresistable Menu.

The guided tours are getting very popular and are available if pre-ordered with the project manager: gulla@reykjavik.is

Groups of school-children arrive every day now. Our ambition is to make the visit to Viðey an unforgettable adventure for all children, - watching the nesting birds and their eggs, the endless sorts of creatures by the seashore, the archiological excavations from the monastery among other things of interest.
