A MIDSUMMERNIGHTS CONCERT, JUNE 24TH - KRISTJANA AND SVAVAR KNÚTUR

Kristjana og Svavar KnúturMusicians Kristjana Stefánsdóttir and Svavar Knútur have long since made themselves known as outstanding artists. Both have issued several cd albums, with their bands and as solo artists. Kristjana is one of Icelands most beloved Jazz and Blues singer and Svavar Knútur is an outstanding composer and trubador.

Together they simply make magic!

The program is a combination of their own music and of that of famous artists such as Dolly Parton, Benny Anderson from Abba and many others.

Viðey island is never as wonderful as this time of year when the midnight sun never sets. If weather allows, the concert might take place under the blue sky.

In Viðeyjarstofa café you can enjoy a light meal and other refreshments.
