THIS WEEKS TUESDAY WALK - BIKING WITH THE ICELANDIC MOUNTAIN BIKE CLUB

Steel Stallions in Viðey

The Icelandic mountain Bike Club has made a custom of visiting Viðey island once every summer. This year they will bring their bikes on Tuesday June 29th. These annual trips have been great fun for all who have come to try out their Steel Stallions in Viðey. The route is moderate, even easy, and well suited for all, - beginners as well as bike proffy´s. All proud bike owners are welcome to bring their bike! The bike tour starts at 19:30 by the church. It is free of charge and bikers get a free bottle of sparkling Kristall to quench the thirst.

Viðeyjarstofa Café is open Thuesday nigths, all other days of the week it closes at 17:00. This makes Tuesdays perfect for visiting Viðey Island, enjoy a lovely light meal and have a walk around the island in the midnight sun. Extra boat trips on Tuesdays are at 18:15 and 19:15 and the boat goes back at around 22:00.
Prices for the boat are isk.1000.- for adults, isk.500 for children 6-18 and its free of charge for the youngest ones. Bikes included in all prices.
