North Center and West Center reception moves to Borgartún 12

Starting Tuesday, Oct. 27, reception for Reykjavík City's North Center and West Center will be located at Borgartún 12, 105 Reykjavík.

Reception hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Fridays.

Presenting identification for financial assistance

Applicants for financial assistance from Reykjavík City who need to present identification can do so at the center most convenient for them, regardless of which center handles their case.

You can present identification at the following locations:

  • North Center and West Center: Borgartún 12, 105 Reykjavík. Open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Fridays.
  • East Center: Bíldshöfði 20, 110 Reykjavík. Open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every weekday.
  • South Center: Álfabakki 10, 109 Reykjavík. Open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every weekday.

You do not need to visit the center handling your application. Applicants can choose the reception location most convenient for them.
